We had Ava's 2nd birthday at a local pumpkin patch while dad and mom visited. We were so excited to have them here, especially for her birthday! Always makes us miss home when family comes to visit! We are very blessed to have so many wonderful friends and family supporting, loving and praying for us!

We were so excited that Dez got to come visit! We went to Mt. Hood for the first time and had a blast! It was beautiful!

So i know again it has been a long time since I have posted but we have had a lot going on. Since daddy has had so much free time lately;) we have been doing family time to the max! Such a blessing to have him around more. The kids and I are soaking up every min! We went to Tx and got lots of good time with everyone! Back home we have been hitting every Oregon site we possibly can. We went to the beach last weekend and headed up to Mt. Hood this weekend. Lots of parks, walks, visiting Tillamook Creamery, golf, drive-in movies, baseball games, and any other family event you can think of. I can't say enough of much we have enjoying this time together!

Kosta Birthday!

Yesterday Kostas turned 4!!! Kostas and I are without a doubt the two most blessed parents! Kostas is such an amazing son! We packed his day with things he has been asking to do since we moved here. Chuck E Cheese was the top of his list. So mommy and my germaphobia had to let go and take him. The important thing is he had a blast. Daddy decorated his cake which he thought was very cool. We also blew up about 200 balloons and filled the house with cars decorations. Seeing his face when he woke up was the best.

We have had a really crazy week! Lots going on! Gingerbread houses, and men, Santa at the fire station, along with a fire truck ride, and our first big snow!

Pa and Grammom Visit!

My parents came to visit recently and it was wonderful to have them here! Big Kostas was gone most the time so the help was nice! Seeing them and Dez here, it really made us realize how blesesd Kostas and I were to have such amzing family around the first few years of our marriage to help us with much needed alone time. Thank you ALL! And of course little Kostas was in truck heaven. And candy overload:) But what are grandparents for but to love and spoil.

This helmet was purchased after daddy and i spent 3 1/2 hours in the e.r. because he and Grammom were attempting a high five without a helmet at a very high speed. Needless to say it ended with a slight concussion and a HUGE bump on his head. Nothing to serious. It did not stop him from riding the next day!

Robin Hood Festival Parade

This was a great little annual parade down town Sherwood where we live and the kids had a great time. They block off the town square and have booths and fun things for the kids. Small Town! We are not in funky town any more.

4th Of July

This was our first 4th as a whole family and Kostas and I agreed it was our best ever! We cooked out, had an amazing fireworks show in our culta-sac, and roasted marshmellows. The kids stayed up way past their bed time and we all just sat around the fire and enjoyed the beautiful night.

Gai Gai Visits!

Last weekend we had a wonderful visit from Kostas Mom! Seeing Dez and having her here definately brightened all of our spirits! We were so glad she came! Little Kostas saw her and just could not let go of her. It was precious! Kostas and his Gai Gai had a lot of alone time which he loved and the weather was awesome so we were outside a bunch! Thanks for the visit Dez! Hope to see you and Chris again soon!

As some of you know Ava is refusing to eat anything on a spoon, or by her hand. She only wants a bottle. At 9mon I know it will happen soon but getting up twice a night is getting a little old. So here she is looking like she actually ate the strawberry, but in reality smashed it and fed it to Brody. Tricky girl!

I know it has been a little while since I have posted but every time I sit down to start I end up wanting to sit and hang out with Kostas instead. It seems since we no longer have the, ever so cherished, family around, alone time is precious! So we are finally getting adjusted to Oregon. The beloved sun has shone its face this past week and we can't stay outside enough! We hike, visit parks, take walks, whatever we can to enjoy these few months of sun! Little Kosta over the last few weeks was getting a little lonely. He just seemed down a lot. And that is NOT his personality at all! So we made a big step and got a dog. He is awesome! I have really noticed a change in Kosta. They are great buds. Ava is movin and grovin. We have to move the dog food because she tends to migrate that way. She is funny with Brody, (that is the dogs name. Kostas wanted Zeus but it didn't fit. He also wanted to name kostas Maximas but that didn't seem to fit either:)) she pokes and prodes at every inch of him and thinks it is so funny. We are still working on Brody's patience. Besides that not a whole lot of anything new. We love and miss you all terribly!

We hiked a mile up this moutian to see a beautiful waterfall! I know that may not seem like very far, but we were going straight up hill with a 3yr old. Who by the way loved it! It was an awesome day!

This was a car show in downtown where we live, and you can't tell by his face but little Kosta Loved it!! We walk here a lot. It's a nice little square.

Quick Trip

Last week we made our first trip back home. What a blessing Dez is alright! We started our trip with GaiGai and Chris and ended up at Pa and Grammoms. I really wish we could have seen more people but this time was a much needed family trip.

This has been our first week in Sherwood, Oregon. Scary, crazy hectic!, beautiful, tiring, fun and so many other emotions have surrounded us. Oregon is absolutely amazing! God's work is beautiful out here! The house is GREAT! Kostas loves all the room and the back yard. He has already met all the neighbor kids. We live on a cultasac and the houses around have kids ranging from 18mon to 13yrs. They are all super sweet and don't mind Kostas in their yards constantly investigating whatever he finds. The park behind is really nice and we will probably be there most of the summer. Both kids love being outside! I love to watch them enjoying the change! Baby Kostas has really grown precious to Ava just since we have been here. I love to watch them interact. She adores him! Kostas did his first lawn mowing job this week. In his flip flops. Too funny! But it looks good. we can't wait to get out there and pull weeds so we can start our garden! I love the space for everyone! We are so blessed to have moved here and can't wait to see what God has in store for us. Please continue to pray for us all!
